L.Y. Marlow is the founder and CEO of Saving Promise—a national intimate partner violence prevention organization inspired by five generations of mothers and daughters in her family that suffered and survived more than sixty years of intimate partner violence, including her granddaughter, a little girl named Promise.

As a former corporate executive with 20+ years overseeing and executing strategic programs for the government and private sector, L.Y. has combined her corporate expertise and passion for community service into a rewarding career as a social entrepreneur and the visionary behind Saving Promise. Key to Saving Promise’s mission is the Harvard Learning Lab—a partnership with the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health to advance and disseminate innovative, evidence-based public education and prevention programs and strategies.
